• Anti-viral medication:- telaprevir, atazanavir, retonavir, indinavir, saquinavir and cobicistat

• Recreational drugs:- amyl nitrate (poppers)

Tadalafil may interact with other medicines such as: blood thinners, e.g. warfarin, erythromycin, protease inhibitors, and alpha-blockers. Before taking Tadalafil, tell your doctor about your medical history, especially of: heart problems, stroke, high blood pressure, liver disease, kidney disease, diabetes, recently had a heart attack, stroke, uncontrolled high blood pressure, and a high blood pressure. Tadalafil should not be used during the first 6 months of pregnancy. Your doctor should discuss the benefits and risks of taking Tadalafil for longer than intended.

Your doctor may tell you to take Tadalafil with a meal for up to 6 hours before having dinner. This will raise the risk of dizziness, lightheadedness, and fainting. Avoid taking Tadalafil with food that contains alcohol as it may reduce the effectiveness of this medicine.

You should take this medicine with a full glass of water as it may take several months to get the full effect of the medicine. Do not take this medicine if you are taking antacids or certain medications for indigestion or if you take antacids such as a whole glass of water or a smallINGS tablet as they may take longer for Tadalafil to work, hence, it is recommended to take this medicine at least four hours before or after taking antacids to reduce their potential for interactions.

This medicine may cause low blood pressure, particularly when taken with certain blood pressure medications. Try to avoid lying down for 1 to 2 hours after taking this medicine, but continue taking this medicine even if you feel well. Do not drive or do other activities that require you to be close to your doctor, even if you are feeling well.
